| The leg did fine today. The fishing didn't. I went slow, the fishing was slower. And what else is new with early season Marlin fishing? Lots of looking - no fishing. Harry and I went from the bottom of the 9 past Pukey to the Rock PIle to the 101 and part way to the 425. Weather was acceptable Albacore fishing - uncomfortable Marlin fishing. Water getting colder and wetter, turned back past Pukey, up the outside of the 9 (passing the Squid hotspots) to the 178 and then home. |
